Terms and Conditions

The terms that apply when you use our website and book our services.

Last updated: October 14, 2026

These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of our website (triforceit.ca) and to the services provided by Triforce Technologies (“we”, “us” or “our”). By using our website or booking our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1. Our services

We provide technology services for homes, seniors and businesses, including computer and device support, Wi-Fi and networking, structured cabling, electronic security and CCTV, smart home technology, digital marketing, and app and software development. Services can be provided on-site or remotely, depending on the job.

2. Quotes and estimates

  • Estimates are free unless we tell you otherwise before we start.
  • Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date they are issued.
  • If we find that the work is different from what was described, or you ask for extra work, we will explain the change and the new cost and get your approval before continuing.

3. Scheduling and cancellations

We will do our best to arrive or connect at the agreed time and will let you know if we are delayed. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice. Appointments cancelled with less notice may be charged a $25 cancellation fee.

4. Payment

  • Payment is due when the work is completed, unless your quote or invoice says otherwise.
  • Equipment and parts we buy for your project may need to be paid for in advance.
  • Larger projects, including app and software development, may require a deposit before work begins, with the balance paid at agreed milestones. Any deposit will be stated in your quote or proposal.
  • Prices are in Canadian dollars and applicable taxes (GST/PST) are added.

5. Your responsibilities

  • Give us accurate information about your equipment, systems and needs.
  • Make sure you own, or are authorized to let us work on, the devices, accounts and systems involved.
  • Provide safe access to your home or business for on-site work.
  • Have valid licences for any software you ask us to install.
  • Back up your important data before service. We can help you set up a backup if you ask.

6. Your data

We take care when working with your devices and data, but repairs, upgrades and data recovery always carry some risk. We are not responsible for loss of data, files or settings, including data on devices that were already damaged or failing. How we handle the personal information we see during our work is explained in our Privacy Policy.

7. Equipment and third-party products

Hardware, software and online services we supply or install (such as cameras, routers, computers and subscriptions) are covered by their manufacturers’ or providers’ own warranties and terms. We will help you with warranty claims where we can, but we are not responsible for defects in third-party products.

8. Our workmanship guarantee

We stand behind our work. If a problem is caused by our workmanship within 30 days of completing a job, contact us and we will correct it at no additional labour cost. This does not cover new problems, misuse, changes made by others, or issues with third-party products or services.

9. Remote support

Remote support sessions start only with your permission, and you can end a session at any time. Please stay available during the session in case we need your input.

10. App and software development

  • Scope. Each project is based on a written proposal describing the features, timeline and price. Changes to the scope are quoted separately.
  • Your feedback. We share progress during the project. Delays in feedback, content or approvals from you may change the timeline.
  • Ownership. Once the project is paid in full, you own the custom code and designs created specifically for your project. We may reuse our general tools, know-how and code that is not specific to your project.
  • Third-party components. Apps may use third-party services, libraries or open-source software, which remain subject to their own licences and fees.
  • Outside costs. Hosting, domain names, app store accounts and paid third-party services are your responsibility unless your proposal says otherwise.
  • After launch. Bugs in our work reported within 30 days of launch are fixed free of charge. Ongoing maintenance, updates and new features are available as a separate service.
  • Portfolio. We may mention the project in our portfolio unless you ask us not to. We will never share your confidential information.

11. Using our website

The information on our website is provided for general information only and may change without notice. The content of this website, including text, images and logos, belongs to Triforce Technologies or is used with permission, and may not be copied without our written consent. Our website may link to other websites, which we do not control and are not responsible for.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost business or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under British Columbia consumer protection law.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page on the date you book a service is the one that applies to that service.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
