How we collect, use and protect your personal information.
Last updated: October 14, 2026
Triforce Technologies (“we”, “us” or “our”) provides technology services to homes, seniors and businesses in British Columbia, including IT support, networking, electronic security, smart home technology, digital marketing, and app and software development. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
This policy explains what information we collect through our website (triforceit.ca) and when you work with us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us. When you request a quote, contact us, or book a service, we may collect:
Information related to our services. To do the work you ask for, we may need details about your devices, network, accounts or business systems. We may also see information stored on your devices while we work on them. We only access what we need to complete the job.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. We do not use advertising trackers or analytics tools that build a profile of you.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not send you marketing messages unless you ask us to.
By submitting our quote form or contacting us, you agree that we may use your information for the purposes described in this policy. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us, although this may limit the services we can provide.
We share personal information only when it is needed to run our business or required by law, including with:
Our website is hosted on servers located in Brazil, and some of the service providers listed above may store or process information in other countries, including the United States. Information stored outside Canada is subject to the laws of those countries and may be accessed by their authorities.
When we repair, configure or support your devices, either on-site or remotely, we only access the files, settings and accounts needed for the job. We do not copy, keep or share your personal files unless you ask us to (for example, during a data transfer or backup). Remote support sessions take place only with your permission. Passwords you share with us are used only for the service and are not kept afterwards unless you ask us to manage them.
Our website uses only the cookies needed for it to work properly and securely. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires (for example, invoices and tax records). Quote requests that do not lead to a service are deleted after 24 months.
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, including secure (HTTPS) connections on our website, password-protected accounts and limited access to client information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you if a breach creates a real risk of significant harm.
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it when we no longer need it. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will reply within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia (oipc.bc.ca) or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
Our services and website are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with the date it was last updated.
